This expander reduces beam divergence by increasing the beam diameter by three times. It extends the effective range of the laser beam(visibility) dramatically. Made with a solid stainless steel housing, this expander is fully focus adjustable allowing users to control and focus the beam to where they want.

Works fine, no problems with focus and fits well with threads, reduces huge beam divergence especially for my Class 4 638nm ones, although there are power losses during the conversion, my 638nm diode Oclaro HL63193MG from 520mW to ~420mW although I cannot confirm exactly, losses are between 20% and 10% this will also depend on the divergence. Beam starts very thick but it gets smaller and smaller, during the thickness beam loses a bit of visibility but after some meters divergence becomes more beautiful and decent.

  1. Excellent

Exactly what I want. I am very satisfied! 10/10

  3. 3x optical expander

works good with striker, only .6 watt loss, cleans up and extends beam. 1.4 watt loss with silver, i think it has to do with NM. greg

  4. Awsome!!!

With a very low cost for a quality piece in the received item, there’s no much room ocupied and filled already with EXCELLENCE !!!

  5. No reviews at the moment

So far I have not been able to evaluate the performance of the product, as the laser was delivered with a problem and never worked so I could test the optics.
